Time Range Separator Indicator

The Time Range Separator indicator for MetaTrader is a custom indicator that uses vertical lines to partition the chart into different time ranges. It looks similar to the regular period separator but differs in function. It (Time Range Separator) shows the trading activities on different timeframes, while the period separator shows different trading periods. The indicator essentially separates the candlesticks of the lower time frames into a time range that reflects that of the higher timeframe. This would help you to easily switch between different timeframes to see the trading activities of the H4 candlestick (for instance) on the lower time frames. What is a period separator in MT4? Period separators are vertical lines that show the boundary between different trading periods. In other words, it shows the chart of trading activities within a particular period (e.g. M30, H1, etc.). The Time Range Separator line of the indicator was built with the Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), set at a default parameter of 0.  It can be modified to suit your trading time. How to Use The Time Range Separator Indicator The above screenshot depicts how the Time Range Separator would look on your MT4 chart after installation. It shows a EURUSD chart on an H1 timeframe which reflects the cumulative candlestick formed in the H4 timeframe. Note that the indicator isn’t a signal-generating tool for BUY/SELL entries, but one that simply separates your chart into different time ranges.
